Sometime at the start of the day my best friend told me that she almost lost her(along with somebody else’s) journal. She’s usually very careful about things like this, so I didn’t think about this too much. I on the other hand don’t have a special knack for losing things so I didn’t think of it as lesson. Frankly I didn’t think of it at all.
Then things started happening, I forgot my journal in the canteen. I don’t usually do this but was a freaky coincidence. I was miserable for a minute and that made me think whether my mind’s playing tricks on me. Can you tell yourself to take something seriously, without actually telling yourself that?
At least I’ve learnt to take other people’s misery more seriously.
